Well for anyone that still reads this, I have sort of been working on songs lately. I've been kinda busy with real life too. I'd expect This Is A Bomb to have a 2011 release date now. I don't want to release any new music until I release the album. But for now, I'm going to try and update this more often, so bookmark this, and check back semi-frequently.

Well, Apocalypse is done and out and a total of two people are enjoying it. It feels really good to have that off my chest. Next up is the rest of the album.
And that's the thing. The next song closest to being finished is Go Fuck Yourself, and it doesn't even have verses written yet. It's entirely possible that if I work hard enough by March 16th I can finish the album but this is me we're talking about. I dunno if I'll be able to put out a full album in that time. So i was thinking maybe do it as an EP? Like how some bands do a series of EP's and compile the best of them into an album. It all depends on how much I get done.
I'm starting (or rather, trying to start) other projects and such, like another band (that probably won't go anywhere) and I want to do a Linkin Park cover EP with my friend, and eventually want to get a band together that will last a while.
I've got a lot of ideas buzzing around in my head, I'm just afraid I will never motivate myself to take up even the best ones. Procrastination is the enemy. I just find myself very vulnerable to it.
Well, I'm off for the night. Motivate me! Even though I know like, two people read this, if that. It's like, I put a lot of effort into getting my music places and Belief in Zero got me pretty hopeful on the power of promotion (it has like 500 listens on Last.fm) and I was a little conservative with promotion of Apocalypse because it has my voice on it and I'm shyer about that, but two goddamn people? I know you two who did, and I really really appreciate it, If it wasn't for you two I'd have given up by now, and I know a laptop band doesn't get a whole lot of exposure, but I hoped for at least a few fans. Is that too much to ask? Maybe I can get those of you who read this to go tell your friends about my music and promote it yourselves, and if haven't yet go download Apocalypse. Spread the word, y'know? The more people pushing me, the more work'll happen on the album and the better it'll be.
Well that was a long-ass goodbye sentence-turned-paragraph. Now I'm off for the night. So long! Again, Motivate me!

The single for Apocalypse will be released Friday Dec 25th (a.k.a. Christmas) but only if you guys tell me what you want to hear on the single. Like I said last entry:
Alright, I want some feedback now! Tell me what random stuff would you like to hear on the Apocalypse single? All I know so far is that you're getting the song, a progression of demos, and maybe a Nine Inch Nails (or another band, let me know if there's another band I should do) cover (give me ideas on which song.)
This was supposed to come out today but that obviously hasn't worked out.
If I get no feedback, I'll just put out the song and the demos, nothing else. This is your chance to hear some fun stuff!

Where the fuck are those updates MindlessMind promised?
Well, the honest thing is that I'm just lazy. I want to start being much more work focused. So, how about one update a week every... Sunday? Does that work? You guys need to remind me somehow to do an update, and remind me during the week to do something so I have something to update about.
Well anyway this week I have a few things to tell you:
Apocalypse (Pre-album Single) - December 22nd (As my little Christmas present to you all.)
This Is A Bomb - March 16th (The day before St. Patrick's Day to give you something to abstain from alcohol to.)
Also, there are two new updated demos of "Apocalypse" and "Go Fuck Yourself" on myspace. These are probably the final versions of programming. Just vocals and guitars added on. Check them out!

Happy Halloween everybody! A little late, I know, oh well.
I got my laptop! Guess what that means. It means now I can work on MindlessMind a lot more. As soon as I get settled and such on this comp I'll try to post updates frequently and work my ass off to try to meet the December 9th deadline for the album. I probably won't meet it, but whatever. That's besides the point.

I've been a bit busy, and have been without a computer for a few weeks, so It's been hard to access the internet, much less work on MindlessMind. I'm sorry to say that if you have been waiting for the Apocalypse single at the end of the week it won't be happening. If all goes well the album could still be out on December 9th, but don't put your money on it. Well, you can give me your money, but don't put any faith into a December 9th release.
As soon as the computer problem works out I'm going to try to work my ass off on music and update this site more often.
